Brakes go buh bye :( What now?

List,

Ok, about a week ago i noticed that my brake light on the dash (the one that
comes on when i pull the e-brake) has been on all the time. I was thinking
that my switch under the handle had gone bad but tonight i found out that i
was VERY wrong!
I was driving through Burlington and all of a sudden, brakes go to floor and
i have just enough power to slow me down.. by the time i get home, im using
my ebrake cause my normal ones are almost completeley gone!
I checked the M/C rez and it was almost empty... i added the last of my ATE
super blue fluid, but it wasnt enough to fill it, or shut the light on the
dash off.
I replaced the M/C in the begining of the summer wiht a used one so im
thinking(hoping) that it is not the problem... So what could cause this?
Blown out slave cyl on one of the calipers? I would see fluid leaking then
right? Please help, i cant drive my rocco untill i get this fixed! :( OH,
its my '87 1.8 16v scirocco. Thanks!
