Re: speaking of new VW's

Here is my opinion on the topic.
If VW were to make a new coupe it would most likely be
more of a Corrado like with it being heavier and loads
of features.  I would pefer a coupe with nothing in it
like what my Scirocco has.  Basicly stuff that most
Americans want.  I don't know the prices that my
parents got their 85 Scirocco, but it was new.  My dad
did buy a new 77 Scirocco back then for $7000 with
nothing on it including radio.  The Quantum that I am
also getting was bought at 15k which was pretty high,
but it is loaded execpt for the alloys.  SO I am think
a coupe would be at around 30k and heavy like the New
MKIV.  If they based it on a Polo platform it would be
perfect since the A4 chassias is to heavy for me. 
There are no new cars that appeal to me so getting
another Scirocco one day is a possiblity
