Bingo.

However, Dan, I'm not going to get on the subject of "stretching the
envelope of reasonably safe driving". Truth be told, most idiots on the
road stretch the limits a lot more at 25mph around town than I did that
night at 110. It was 3am, I was fully awake and sober, professionally
trained to drive at high speeds (a LOT higher than 110mph) on Autobahnen in
Germany, in a new car which was (boringly) stable at that speed, on an
8-lane totally-dead-straight-ahead section of I-95 on a 75'F clear Florida
night. I saw 3 other cars in 32 miles.

I appreciate and understand your concern, but without knowing me
personally, I can assure you I'm not as bad as I seem. :)
But Fry was right -- me saying 'Are you mad?!?!' was a sarcastic comment...
of course I should have laid back after #2. But I was 19 years old, and
(among other reasons why I was going so fast) the statistics were totally
stacked in my favor -- for Christ's sake how likely is it to get nailed 3x
in one day!?!??! ;) [That was also sarcastic]

:)
