Josh,
If all of your mounts are in and aligned, the front mount should be at least
1" into the cup. The only way i can imagine it wouldnt line up is if the car
has been in a wreck in past years and was improperly pulled.
You can either space the cup with washers or weld an extension onto the
bracket. I recommend NOT spacing out the cup, since that increases the
rotational torque on the lower radiator support, which will destroy your 'no
stress crack' car.
Are both bolts on that front bracket? i figure if one was missing it could
pivot such that the mount pops out.
