Re: Exhaust manifold-downpipe studs? Replaceable?



Juist soak them down real good and pay attention when pulling the nuts off.
If it feels like they are twisting, add heat or let them soak longer.  You
can also tap on them with a copper/brass hammer to loosen up the rust around
them.  If all else fails, run you car for awhile and see if the heat helps
(where gloves and something on your arms of course).  If you can, use a long
extension with 1/2" drive ratchet/socket.  HTH!!
