Randy-
  a rich mixture will not clog the oil filter, since it does not produce
particulates.  If it's REALLY rich it may dilute the OIL with unburned fuel,
in which case changing the oil more frequently than the filter makes more
sense.  In any case, I think you could extend your filter change interval
without risk.   Enjoy the ride.

I change mine every 3000 Miles, with Air filter, oil filter and do my tire
rotation at the same time... cars purrs... and I use 20w50 Castrol GTX,
(summer) and 10w40 Castrol GTX (winter).

Nope,
I change the filter every 3333 (figure they are cheap and probably clog
quickly with my engine running fairly rich now), and the oil every 6666.
This also makes the math easier.
Once I install the Mecca I should be able to do the oil and filter every
6666.
The synthetic is probably good for 15k+ but I am being overly cautious,
always wanting the max protection in the engine at all times for those
occasional jaunts above 7K.
