cams & idle

i've got Neuspeed Euro spec cams installed in my 1.8 16v and my friend 
insists on this being the cause of my idle hunting. I was wondering how if 
this is actually true and how much the cams will affect the idling.

i've already cleaned out the idle stablizer and replace all the injector 
seals. now what? if it cant be fixed short of putting back stock cams, then 
forget it.
