90+ Jetta spindle swap front brake upgrade???

I remember reading somewhere (list?) about using a 90+
Jetta's front spindles, rotors, and calipers for a 10
inch "junkyard" upgrade... The info I remember was
that it would bolt right up if you removed the inner
"spacers" of the stock Scirocco strut casings.

But, IIRC the Jetta's camber is adjusted at the ball
joint, not with an eccentric bolt at the strut like
the Scirocco.

I've never looked at a Jetta spindle, so, does anyone
know how the spindle would interface with the control
arm? I would imagine the control arms of the Jetta
have 3 slots instead of holes for the ball joint bolts
(for adjustment) y/n? Could I just slot my holes
(sounds dirty doesn't it?) :-) in my control arms?

If the camber adjustment must be done at the spindle
strut mount, could I use a smaller diameter bolt (than
the hole in the spindle) with an eccentric head? Any
other ideas/suggestions?

  Thanks!

    Mark.
