Chris,

I figured out what the problem was.  When my dad installed the wires from
the starter, he failed to put the wires underneath the heat shield.  The
wire on terminal 50 was cooked.  I took the starter off again and replaced
the wires with thicker gauges and clean terminals.  All is fine now.  Thanks
