dale,

which one are you using?  i have a custom made one with no rpm switch, and 
im thinking of adding a heavy-duty one.  mine is made to the same spec as a 
tt one (1100 ohm) and i really didnt notice much of a difference.

did the switch fail or did the resistance for the coolant temp signal 
change?
