  Craig's reasoning is simple; any excuse is good enough to put more motor
in your Scirocco!
Granted, it would be least expensive to just bore your stock block to next
oversize and put it back in.  But,.....see first sentence!  Enjoy the ride!

If this is the result of Ben's test, what is your rationale for replacing
the entire block.
(no criticism here just curious)
Is it that boring the cyl would be the only way to fix it so might as
well...?
Share w/ us your reasoning on this that us newbies and neophytes may glean
knowledge from you..  :)

this will eventually be in my future, hopefully later rather than sooner
