Hydro, but many use them with the solid lifter 1983-84 GTI head w/ it's
larger than non-GTI valves.

I have come to understand one might remove the injector seats in the
Audi head and replace them with new conventional ones that match your
fuel system and use the long block.

This config has some 5th injector issues (although I might be wrong on
that) and might get flag by a real picky SMOG station but is a decent
setup, plug and play wise.

btw- If you don't mind mentioning, how much is an Audi 3A costing these days?
