Re: another 2.0L question...



Don't quote me on this,.. but it seems that the gear on the end of the
intermed. shaft needs to be ground to clear the new parts.   Honestly,..
pushing a 1.8 block is a waste of time IMHO.   I can buy a complete 2.0
motor for $450.00 and nothing needs to be clearance.   After selling off the
parts you don't need,... you have paid for your shop bill and new rings and
bearings.   (or should be close,...)   I believe that is the plan for Mike
A. who I rebuilt and sold a similar package to.   I dunno,...   Maybe if I
couldn't source a 2.0 block,..I might consider this package from
Autotech.,... . but I could probably ship you a 2.0 motor cheaper than that
kit?
