Twin engine Rieger! (or?) twin engine sleeper

Well, here is the idea i'm tinkering around with currently:
What i have (all remnants of my past 5 sciroccos):
1 Rieger GTO scirocco, FN trans, shrick 276's, tt race exhaust (full), lots
of rear meat itching for torque.
1 Full 16v (yes, everything).
1 16v head (with stock cams).
2 AGB trannys.
2 euro bumpers.
1 Kamei X1 full body kit.

Here is idea #1:
- Keep rieger the way it is: daily driver, grocery getter (well, you know
how big these hatches are).
- Get $400 87 rocco 16v with blown rings (perfect body), rebuild front
motor, throw extra 16v (after rebuild) in back with one of the agb's, roll
cage, rear seat out, kamei kit, euro bumpers, paint, etc.

advantages:
- i love how the rieger sounds and it is a joy to drive the way it is. Not
sure i would ever want to spoil that, even if it would become a monster of
all sciroccos (i'd prob be draging it at waterfest vs. showing it, heheh).
- Would have a 'weekend rocco' that would sink the ego of just about every
other driver on the road today.

disadvantages:
- cost
- have to figure out cheap way to get non-drivable scirocco from tampa, fl
to charleston, sc.

And now for idea #2:
- Dont get second scirocco.
- Put second motor in rieger, roll cage, etc. (note: would have to ruin tt
exhaust and drop back to stock cams on front motor for proper torque
balance).

advantages:
- possibility of having the most wicked scirocco on the planet.
- could sell kamei x1, other 16v parts, and euros and make a pretty penny
(probably cover costs on rieger).
- less bitching from the wife (possibly, havent bounced idea off of her
yet).

disadvantages:
- now have 1 scirocco, not really suitable for daily driver status, and
without a hatch.
- more of the wife asking 'could i take the green car to wal-mart
tonight???' (heheh).

So, i now open the floor for suggestions.
Thank you in advance for your patience/participation.
