Re: CINCY 2002 DATES - VOTE! (Was: Re: Scirocco get together 2002)

First off, plan on being here in Colorado sooner than that. Last year I
left Wed night bout 6pm. Crashed out at a rest stop at about 2am.
Contiuned on to IL and met up with another Eric thursday afternoon.
Crashed there. Friday morn was a nice 4 hour or so drive on to Daun's.
The party definatly gets going friday, the earlier you are there, the
better.

Now last year, it rained almost the whole time. Heat was NOT a problem, I
figure it will be quite nice this year. Early June isn't bad yet....late
July...HOT AND MUGGY! :-)

So...I would say, plan on coming to Colorado by Tues, early Wed. Hang out
a day, then we can leave damn early on Thurs. Maybe another St. Louis
lister, or IL lister will put us up for the night Thurs. But leaving
night gives a nicer, more leisurly trip.

Also, if you are worried about the heat, take a tip from Yarrow. He used
one of those old swap coolers designed for a bug. It fits on one window,
gets filled with water and blows nice cool air in. Kinda looks like a
rocket launcher stuck to your car :-)
