Well ummm.... the short story is, I knew that before I started this little
adventure I was going to need to find some decent ones... Like everyone else
you call Potterman and your local dealership and look on Ebay and nobody has
them.

I was talking to one of my contacts at Volkswagen corporate about the lack
of availability of the seals and he said he would look into it; he is a guy
by the name of Phillippe who is the head of VW accessories marketing and a
16v Scirocco owner btw.   Anyhoo, Phillippe sent out a memo to a bunch of
his contacts in Europe and the UK and three months later there they were....
direct from a dealership in Brighton, England as a non-inventoried part
tucked way back on a shelf in a SKU that time forgot...

So yeah that is how I found mine, or how they found me.
