MSD ignition

I pulled this too long ago to remember how it was attached...
MSD ignition box in question is the 6A.  there are two wires im not 
100% sure what to do with.  there is a red wire that is labeled on the 
diagram "to switched 12 volts" and a white wire that is labeled "to 
points or amplifier output (connects to yellow wire of timing 
accessories)."  Where should these guys go?  there is some other 
connection that isnt supposed to be connected when the white wire is.  
what is that about?
