RE: [OT] % of own work done on Roc (VW's)

I hear ya... I wasn't planning on doing the actual painting myself, but I
was thinking about doing the prep-work. The paint on my car is actually
pretty good.  The problem is all the dents and blemishes that have occurred
over the last 20 years.  I'd also like to get rid of the side-molding and
side-markers.  But I'd rather have a good shop with the right tools take the
dings out.  I'm scared of going to some place and having them smear bondo
over everything.
