well i started this whole thread, and the first thing i checked was the oil 
level, i just changed the oil so i knew it had all 5 qts in there.
i ran a diagnostic on it this weekend, hook up a pressure regulator, i get 
between 15-20 lbs at idle, and 75 lbs in the higher rpms.  no way its a pump 
problem.  at about 2500 rpms the pump puts out the most pressure and it was 
over 75lbs.

problem sovled.
