Carl,

Yeah, me too.  My Scirocco was stock when I tore it apart, so I am pretty
confident the cross member is OK, but when the car goes back together, I
WANT THAT BRACE, or at least something resembling it.

You have a Fox?  Cool!  They're my furst love.  I had one tuned for major
performance, then kissed a mountainside with it.  Boo.  I'm not Colin McRae
yet--especially with a Fox.
