Ronster,

There is a special cradle you can get that fits on top of your existing
floor jack that will hold the wheel while you dial it in. Only lifting
would be getting into the cradle when lowered all the way down,
seemingly done without bending over.

Given your skillful manipulation of available materials it seems you
might work one up yourself.
