  You've seen the new Ford Thunderbird?  the New Beetle?  Those are remakes
of an old classic.  Would you buy one?
 Plus, a new/sleeker body, new engine, new interior?  (Sounds like a Corrado
to me.)  You have a whole new car, my friend, and my first post still
applies.  Sigh....the Scirocco is dead, long live the 'Roc.

I have to agree with you on the reasons why they won't
resurrect it.  Yet, there is still a possibility we
can get them to produce a small amount of limited
edition models.  Maybe they could slightly modify the
old MK2 model, making it sleaker.  The could rework
all the engine, and the interior.  

I don't know...remake an old classic?...well thats
just my imagination getting the best of me....
