the meanest sounding VW color...

i bought a 76 scirocco last year as a resto project; it currently is a
faded green color. the engine bay was still nice and shiny, so i
decided restore the factory color. i looked in the boot for the color
code, which read L96N.

i called PPG and gave them the color code, and the lady says "viper
green metallic, yes, we can make that."

anyone else have that color?
