RE: [non-tech] painting taillights



I know a few folks locally that simply use masking tape over the taillights
then cut out the lines to be painted and use black or flat back on the
exposed
section of the taillights and it looks good.


No I have not done this myself , but will eventually start working on
detailing the car
as soon as I have done all 4 CV joints, all Shocks, all Springs, rack and
pinion rubber boots
water pump and engine rebuilt..

or glueing something like vinyl strips on..?
