RE: cooling problems




MY 85 8v, runs between the indicator light and the upper white line
as well, but it does not remain at the 3/4 mark for a long amount of time
(unless in traffic)
the fan does come one as well every other minute for 45-50 secs a time.
and the temperature drops to the half mark, I also have changed
the fan, the hoses (upper/lower radiator) and thermostat without
any significant change in temperature reading, I have change the
heater core as well (was blocked).

Next I am changing the oil cooler hoses to see if this will help
as I am thinking if the oil is remaining rather "hot" then the engine
is too hot as well this making the "coolant" difficult to cool down.

I will keep you posted.
