Re: KE Jetronic diagram

Hello Zoli ! :-)

havn't heard from you recently , hopefully the Sciroccos are doing well lin Hungary ?

speaking of what we call "KE jetronic injection", I think that
most of the U.S. list members call that one "CIS-E"

(anybody correct me please if I'm wrong ?!)

Unfortunately I had the same problem last week and needed a new control unit for my GT-II that was
$400. I opened the old one later and found that the inside doesn't look like it's worth $400 at all.
However as I'm not too skilled in electronics, I can't repair that myself, but there
are companies here which are specialised in repairing broken control units.
Maybe you find a similar solution in Hungary.
I don't think a schematic diagram of the unit will help you much.

Most common failure on the control units are broken soldering points due to vibration, so
resoldering the suspicious points may help.

HTH
friendly Greetings
Dirk

Subject: KE Jetronic diagram

Hi,
I am a MKII maniac from the Hungarian Scirocco Club ( www.scirocco.hu )
I would need the circuit description of the KE jetronic injection,
because my engine control system is instable and I suspect the electronics
of the engine to be bad or the ignition.
I hope that I can repair the control units with the circuit diagram

TIA
Zoltan
