Fuel Injection... Help



Ok, I checked the sparkplugs today. 3 lean, 1 rich. I replaced them with the 
old resistor type of plug, but no major change...

Sickly piddle of gas (not a spray) coming from the injector nozzle (n1 -n3, 
all lean) Forget n4, too hard to get out). I changed the fuel dist with a 
known good one. No change.

If I read the timing mark on the fly wheel, and accellerate the rpm, then 
the wheel does move back till a certain point. With the throttle at the 
point where the second Thraot opens the timing mark returns to 3 deg and 
runns REALLY BAD.

Hardly any power when it does drive. I am going to take the GTi injectors 
(now sitting in cleaner/degreaser) and try them...

Did find a nice surprise under the GTi though. A short shift kit. Fitted 
that real fast. Love the feel.
