Right!  Look at the acceleration figures!  A 3000lb New Beetle 1.8T will 
hit 60 in 7.1 seconds -- compared with the 1.8 16V in the Scirocco (at 
2500lb) taking 7.7-8.1 (according to the same magazines).

That means that a 1.8T in a 2500lb Scirocco would be in the 6-second range 
for 0-60s..
