Re: highest compression on a cis e




Agreed - when you increase the CR you're squeezing the air harder once
it's in the combustion chamber.  However, there will be no corresponding
increase in fueling as the volume of air that moved past the airflow
sensor plate would be the same as a low-compression 1.8/2.0.

Now, when you're talking turbo/super charging, THEN you're squeezing more
air INTO the combustion chamber, which will result in more fuel (as the
increased volume of air moves past the airflow sensor plate it will result
in more fuel.)
