The head bolts up, and all passages line up. The difference is that the 16V
has nearly all of it's combustion chamber in the head, so with 8v pistons
(even 10:1 CR ones) the CR ends up at around 7.5:1 or so. Not good for
normally aspirated, but perfect for a monster turbo.

If you rebuild the motor and get oversize pistons, you could get custom
pistons that would bring the CR into a useable range. Cheaper to just get a
2.0 16v block.

The other problem is in intermediate shaft/oil pump/timing belt stuff.
Talk to Brian Honnold about this, he's using an ABA block to build his 16v
turbo.
