I got a nice streak going here, first the guy who tried to stiff me for some crappy taillights (he eventually paid me back after I wrote to aol and to the USPS), now I have a fella of questionable character who sold me a Scirocco II dash through eBay (for $183, mind you) and which turned out to be in horrific shape (he advertized it as in great shape; his eBay username is "silversurfer!" --yeah, I know, why do I keep dealing with people with goofy usernames, I am asking for trouble, stay away from those bozos, yeah, I know).
It is Percy W. Oaks, based out of Gasport NY and Lockport NY (close to Buffalo). I exchanged a couple of emails with him, where he said he was going to have UPS pick up the dash and he would refund my money, but he has been ignoring me since then.
Tomorrow I am filing whatever is necessary with UPS about that noteworthy gentleman, but it would be lovely if I could collect further dirt on him (his rating on eBay is not that great either), so if anyone has any leads, please let me know. (Anybody who is 6ft or above in the list near the Buffalo area willing to go and confront that #*&#@ ? :-))
