Odometer repair and Jetta GLX

I attempted to fix my Odometer today. Well, it was a failure. I couldn't
get the instrument panel out of the car. I opened up the dash from underneath
and couldn't get my hands past all of the wires to release the speedometer
cable and other connections. And the other connections looked very delicate
so i stopped there before i could fuck anything else up. I can live without
the odometer I guess Put everything back together and took it for a drive
and make sure I did not mess anything else. Everything worked except one of
the lights now and i was like fuuccckkk but I hit it a few times and it came
back on.

To those that have been following my newer car search I drove a 98 GLX, red.
Man this car was schaweeeeet. I like it better than the golf i drove a few
weeks ago. The Jetta felt more solid on the road. The golf felt to nose
heavy and the jetta seemed to distribute the weight better on all wheels and
seemed to handle much better than the Golf. Price was 16,300. 46000 miles,
was madd clean. Still had a new car smell. soft Leather, Sunroof, power
everything, only thing it lacked was CD player. What do you all think about
that price. Had this annoying chime when the door was open though, that will
be the first thing to go. Peace out.
