Less, more like a half ton. The interior weighs a bit all added up, the
motor/trans/front suspension are the single largest removable weight in
the car, the interior being the second. 

Glass follows at a respectable third.

Didn't Duan say a picked over Mk2 weighed in at 800 lbs?
