It was the answer to his question...8th month is the month the new model
year starts. August is the 8th month.

8th month ? he said 6-78..

1-January
2- February
3-march
4-April
5- may
6-June
7 -July

still IS a 78, I think the roll over is august for the next year models.
mine is a 9-84 ands its an 85.
