For performance and quiet, I have not found anything that works as well as
the Supersprint.  I have the entire system (headers to tip) but you could
use their cat (free flow as in cat-wanna-be) and their muffler.  I have the
systems on both my 2.0 and the 2.1 and haven't had any trouble in more than
five years on the 2.0 and 8 years on the 2.1.  You pay a little bit more and
you get your money back......
