Another Tale of Woe - (Long)

Well Boys,
I thought I'd get my haircut today during lunch and it was such a beautiful day here in Cincinnati that I took the 81S for wash and spin! Never got there.
A young woman in a Geo Prizm driving in passing lane of SR32 (a four lane road), realized she had missed her exit and rather than go much further, made an abrupt turn into the median turn around, no turn signal, nada!
It took all of about three seconds to total the front end of the roc which I have to believe, never knew what hit 'em (er uh, it hit).
It happened so quickly, but I thought she was stopping for another motorist ahead of her who had slowed down. When I realied that I was going too fast to stop from hitting her in the rear, I was tempted to go into the median to avoid her, but when I saw that she was turning, rather than broadside her on the driver side, I corrected to bring the car back into the lane. She had slowed too fast and the drivers side headlight of the roc smacked wholeheartedly into the deadcenter of her back bumper. As I hit the rear of the Prizsm, a white 95 Pontiac Bonneville that had been following me, tapped the left rear corner of my bumper an spun me around so that I was now facing in the opposite direction.
When I saw the middle of the hood pop up (like a muffin in the toaster), I knew this was some serious shit. When the lady hit me in the rear almost simultaneously, I knew I was really f@*#! It seems that I keep re-living the moment almost in slow-motion now!
Anyhow, despite what you all may be thinking, fate smiled upon the three of us for the young woman (I should say Mother) in the Prizm had a 1 month baby in the reat seat behind her and if I had not directed my car back into the lane I might be giving a different account of the afternoon...........We we all wearing our seatbelts.
The car was towed to the local shop for an assesment of the frame damage and what it may take to bring in back to life.
Visitation will be held this evening at The Body Shop and funeral date TBD. Memorial donations to Scirocco.Org.
