Tales of woe... chevys 2 rocco 0.

well,
Im looking at my rocco being totaled. maybe.
I was making a left hand turn from the left hand turn lane and got pasted
by a Chevy (guess is was getting even for the suburban) truck in the
drivers side front corner from behind. appearently the guy failed to see
me until too late and swerved to avoid me into oncoming traffic, but since
i was turning left the traffic was clear. The chevy driver got the ticket.

rocco damage
euro bumper cover popped off and shot down the road.
euro bumper support about 6-10" is now pointed down at the ground. from
the end to the mount point.
euro light (blinker and holder) disintigrated. found pieces.
core support tweaked.
hood tweaked
driver fender tweaked.
16v kit tweaked (front right and front).
whole front end pushed slightly to the pass side.
both fenders are now no longer attaced to the main mody with the filler.
I think one or both of the struts are bent. as it rides much harsher. and
the fishtail feeling is much worse.
so it looks like frame damage to me, but im not a body man.
Im thinking for R&R
both front fenders, hood, core support. and the inner fender wells have to
be fixed and straightend. front euro bumper.

oh yeah my driver door used to ge misaligned. its shuts nice now but the
door lines dont line up with the body lines now.
:-(

so after the adjuster gets thru and cust me a check.
this rocco is going up for sale as is may or may not be repaired.
bad luck comes in threes. and I'm not waiting on #3.
#1 nobody in the car. p-brake fails hits chevy suburban.
#2 me and friend in car get hit freakily by someone on coming from behind
while making left.
#3 who knows.


Oh good news. I got my rocco running cool.
