FS: 92 GLI 2L 16V For Parts

Hey all,

A friend of mine just finished his GLI project (brand new 2L, suspension,
euro big bumpers/lights, all the goodies) and got broadsided about 5K miles
after completion.  He's a mechanic at the VW dealership that I go to, so the
work was done right.  Anyway, he's looking to unload it for about $1,500.
Interior is mint, including the recaros and the front of the car is totally
undamaged as are 3 corners of the suspension (neuspeed, bilstein).  The car
is located on Long Island and is drivable.  He removed the stereo and fancy
wheels/tires.
