Towed away ... was: RE: 16V Just stolen (Update-Long)

Personally I believe this is what has happened to you.

1) you where parked in a invalid period parking zone??
2) your car was towed and the damage was done by the towing
3) to cover damage and liability of damage ( your now a hit and run car)
4) you get to pay towing costs
5) you've been had.

This has happened to me in Montreal, towing screwed up by towing my Buick
(which was properly parked) when he answered a call for a car to be towed in
a invalid parking zone... 3 FSKING streets away.

I'd check for tow damage too. If the doors were locked, the brake set ? And
car in gear, how the hell did they tow it? They didnšt just drag it up on a
flat bed in gear with the brake on did they?
