Could be many things.

1. Does it feel like it's missing? i.e. is it real lumpy up to 2500 RPM? If 
so check ignition wires, plugs, etc.

2. Your cat might be clogged. Once plugged your car will run like crap, with 
no power. This wouldn't really change with temp. Listen to the exhaust to 
see if it sounds like it's plugged.

3. Your car has several warm up systems. You could start by checking the DPR 
current (see .org faq) and observing how everything behaves as it warms up.

4. The car uses more fuel when cold, so if the fuel filter is clogged, then 
it will be worse when cold. When was it replaced last? Might be time to do 
it anyway.
