RE: (OT) Drill Cord or Battery

I wasn't going to reply to the tread but since everyone has, I will put my 2
cents in.

18-24V cordless drill DeWalt or Makita (I find Makita has more torque than
DeWalt on the 24V model. 2 power pack, and you can Swiss cheeses drill your
rear axle.

The biggest, baddest cordless you can afford. Seriously. I'm getting really
hooked on the cordless biz. We're even using it to speed up tire changes at
the
autocross. I had a corded B&D for years, but at this point I doubt I'll ever
use
it agian! I've got a 9V Ryobi, and it has accomplished everything I've
attempted, but sometimes just barely. :) I was playing with a 12V on display
at
Home Depot today (can't remember the brand, but one of the good ones)...I
just
about drove a screw completely THROUGH a 2x4! That's what I'd get, if I did
it
over.

You can't possibly over-spend on tools. Even Cheapass Ron says that!

Tim Taylor is my idol...

Well, I'm going to need to buy a drill to get the rivets out of my
control arm (and maybe a shine bar sometime down the road). I don't
have power close to where I work on my car, so I can get a corded drill
with a long-a** power cord or a nice cordless one. What kind of
cordless drill would you get?
