Yes they used motometer gauges , they are better, stronger, have no plastic
parts will probably never break down, and are highly prized.

my rocco has a 'motometer' speedo in it. what the heck. i thought vw uses
only VDO. i cant find
"vdo" anywhere on this one. what also gets me is that it looks exactly like
any other 160 VDO
speedo.
