Brakes and Q's (long)

Howdy Folks,

Took the car out for its first hi-way drive since
getting her working again...

Things were going 'ok'.  The exhaust is patched up for
now (waiting for enough savings to get it all
replaced).  So it was a somewhat noisey trip (actually
it sounded like some of the stupid hondas with the
coffee can exhausts...)

At about 110 km/h I decided that it would be a good
time to make sure the brakes worked...  I'd noticed
that they were a bit shakey (pulsing) at lower speeds.

I tapped them and experienced a 'oh shit' kind of
momment.  The pulsing was realllly bad.  And I was
going down the mountain...  The e-brake works really
well though.  :-)

So bleeding the breaks might fix it?  Its all that I
can think of right now.

If the rotars are warped... I was thinking of putting
on vented disc brakes.  Anyone on here done this?  Is
it expensive/hard to do?

Anyone have a 'Tech' site that has a 'how to do it'?

Followed by:

The valve cover leaks oil.  Not much but enough to be
slightly annoying.  How long of a job is it to replace
the gaskets?  Does anyone make a 'spiffy' value cover
to replace my rusty black one with?
