Dan,

You can slide them right in just like any other VW seat as long as your swap
the seat belt buckle, and if you're short. The brackets on the Jetta seats
are much taller then the Scirocco's and my head hits the roof even with the
seat at its lowest.

Randy recently purchased the correct Recaro seat brackets to install a set
into his Scirocco. Works just fine. You can ask him for more info.
