I just went through a similiar thing having a front euro bumper
damaged (not my fault). I came to the same conclusion as others have
said, don't mention the euro bumper! If they are going to cut you the
check (fight for that!), you will come out ahead - if they don't total
your car. I basically said "you are cutting me the check, right?
I've owned the car over 11 years and I want to make sure the repair
work is done properly."

When I got an estimate from a local dealer, I told him about the euro
bumper and headlight, but he didn't care. He quoted a US spec bumper.
I figured the headlight could be repaired, but he said no, replace it.

I didn't mention the euro bumper to the insurance companies
appraisor - ONE new US spec bumper was over $700.00. Pottermans sale
price for a PAIR of eurobumpers at the time was $600 shipped.

The difference between two quotes was about $200. I took the lower
offer from the insurance company and ran. Insurance company paid me
$104.50 for a US headlight assembly - I just replaced $20 in
adjusters. A stressful way to make money, but I came out very well.
Play the game right, and you may win too :)

FYI, replacing the rear body panel was $1000+ five years ago.

Dont write that bumper off yet, either - repair might be possible:
