There are a few states where they are legal, Oregon and Washing are a couple
of them <I think>.. anyone?

I've never been hassled for mine, but Ron Wood at VW Specialties told me of
a customer who got pulled over *5* times by the same Huntington Beach cop
for the things.. the last time he threatened to impound the car if he
kept putting them back on..  :0
