Unless I read the stats wrong, wouldn't that be:

Number of distinct hosts served: 14,742 (5,700) 
Number of new hosts served in last 7 days: 4,542 

The hosts are broken down by IP addresses, those ~15,000
machines generated the ~700,000 'hits'. if I read this
correctly.  Taking into consideration DHCP turnover of 50% 
(probably waaay high), that still leaves 7,500 users. So, 
that would still be a fairly large number for a mailing 
list website with less then 500 members.  Also remember that
there's still a week to go this month. :)
