Re: 4K tranny - .75 or .80 5th??
Sorry Brett, I did mine years and years ago (about 94?), before I ever
knew about scirocco.org... :) It's a little easier (and a bit sexier)
user interface that allows the user to roll through a list of
transmissions/tires while watching speed/engine rpm differences change
dynamically. It includes an accelerate/deccelerate function and a nice
visual speedometer bar and big LEDish numbers for speed. :)
The distribution is only about 50K, if you want to post it on
scirocco.org... :) :)
Drag is it's written in QuickBasic and so runs in a dos window. Haven't
gotten around to porting it to Java yet, sorry... :)
Here's a screen shot (if you have courier or another non-proportional
font:) (The big speed numbers didn't come out - they're extended ASCII, as
are the Knight-Rider'esq speed and tach bars)
