I'm slowly planning a series of mods to my new-to-me mars red 1981, probably including an engine swap.  I've got an '84 GTI that I can steal an engine from, and might also consider going full out to a 2 liter.

Anyone want to take me for a ride in a similar set up car to let me see the differences?
