Hey,
Thanks for checking out my site, glad you like it! The pipercross makes a
cool sound (not as loud or VR6ish as I would like) but just like swiss
cheesing your airbox the gains are debatable. It does sound glorious in
tunnels at 5Krpm! When spring rolls around and I get to unpacking all the
parts I bought over the winter and recently (read as-broke ass) I plan on
either putting a 300ZX hood scoop on and/or fixing the ram air on the
Pipercross box. If you can find one for 60 bucks I say get it.

John Edwards bought the new Eurosport box which looked to be better designed
against heat soak. He couldn't get it to fit so he sent it back, John can
you spread any light on this?

I've been cruising through some of the lists web
sites. I liked Shannon's with all the movies featuring
different exhaust setups. That stuff made me younger.
Anyways that Pipercross Airbox had me intrigued, not
only for the cool sound put possible performance
gains. Shannon says: "Overall I give it a thumbs up
for unique-ness and cool factor, thumbs down for bang
for the buck (like most 16V stuff)." I guess I won't
be looking for one of these when this Yank goes over
there.

Before that he talks about the CIS/CISE/Motronic
airbox ($160). Has anyone out there had any experience
with this?

By the way Shannon, if you read this, nice job on your
site.
